Researching family history can be quite a challenge and certainly provides an opportunity to learn much more about our ancestors than what we did before beginning our research. This was exactly my experience when I began designing this book and especially as I began updating the family genealogy provided by Talbert Bean.
As you can see from the following family tree there is yet a lot to be added, and changed, to even come close to having a complete list of LA and Elizabeth Bean Mosty’s descendants, much less Niclous & Otillia Thil Musty’s descendants.
As of this writing, based on the following list, there has to be over 200 direct descendants of LA & Elizabeth Bean Mosty, spanning 140 years. That is over one new descendant every year! I am certain there are many more as this list is not nearly complete, and I’ve only been in contact with but a few of the descendants who provided updates to their family tree.
Speaking of folks who provided updates to their family trees. I should give special thanks to Julia Mosty Leonard and Vicki Mosty Wilson for their help in updating their family information. It was my pleasure to visit with these two ladies at Provisions in Center Point, Texas and to share family information, photos, etc. The information they provided was invaluable and their assistance is greatly appreciated.
