Lee & I went San Antonio International Fair. Excursion $1.00 round trip. Left Kerrville early AM & Back Late at Nite. We walked from the old SA&AP Depot [San Antonio & Aransas Pass Depot in San Antonio], corner of South Flores & South Alamo to the Fair.
About nite we walked back & then decided to walk downtown. Took our bearing at the courthouse. Walked to business district of commerce & returned to the courthouse. Had got turned around & did not know which way to go. I told Lee if I could see the stars I could take the right course. So I climbed a lite pole & spotted the ...

... North Star. About that time a Policeman came along. We had a time explaining what I was doing up that pole. He looked us over & told us to beat it. We took off & reached old SA&AP Depot [San Antonio & Aransas Pass Depot] without further trouble.
Another family at the Baptist church I should give a very nice bokay was the JTS Gammons. Mrs. Ola B Gammon, a most attractive & pleasant young woman, was the organist. She treated us like real musicians but I am sure it must ...
