... asked the Mexican to eat. Again he said no & would not come in. He was seated on the ground leaning back against a large tree. Mr. Joy went to his tent, got his six-shooter & brought the Mexican’s breakfast out & sat it in front of the Mexican; pulled his gun & cocked & said “eat Mexican”. You never saw a meal go down so fast in all your life.
